Schloss Hellenstein
The Hellenstein Castle is the landsmarkt of Heidenheim and offers a beauiful view to the city. It was completed in 1611 after 16 years of construction and is definitly worth a visit.

Whether you are on foot or by bicycle, Heidenheim and its countryside boasts a great variety of fascinating destinations which are worth to be visited. From juniper heaths to a meteor crater and the primeval sea to the Härtsfeldsee (lake), you may discover plenty of gorgeous places.
